Fudo / Disclaimer
Disclaimer
Fudo is an informational aid. It is not medical advice, a diagnosis, or a treatment, and it is not a substitute for reading a product label yourself or for guidance from your child’s allergist, physician, or dietitian.
How results are produced
Fudo’s results are generated by an AI model that reads the photo or screenshot you provide and compares the ingredients it can see against the allergen list you entered. That model can be incomplete or wrong. It may misread text, miss an ingredient, misinterpret a hidden name, or fail to see part of a label that is blurred, cropped, glared, or folded.
Why you always confirm
Because of those limits, Fudo never saves a result until you have looked at it and confirmed it. The app shows you which ingredients it flagged and why so that you can compare them against the actual label. If the app and the label disagree, trust the label.
What Fudo does not do
- It does not detect cross-contact that is not printed on the label.
- It does not know when a manufacturer changes a recipe. Ingredient lists change without notice.
- It does not account for your child’s individual thresholds or reactions. Only your child’s care team can do that.
- It does not replace an emergency plan.
Your responsibility
You are responsible for verifying every result against the physical product before making any decision about what your child eats. Use Fudo as a second look, not a first opinion.
Emergencies. If your child is having an allergic reaction, call 911 or your local emergency number immediately. Do not use this app in an emergency.
Acceptance
By using Fudo you acknowledge these limitations and agree that the developer is not liable for decisions made on the basis of the app’s output.
